FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method consists as follows. Pressure cell is inserted into the analysed medium with temperature sensor arranged on the pressure cell. Output signals of the pressure cell and temperature sensor data are recorded. These signals indicate medium pressure. Analysed medium is exposed to generated mechanical vibration at frequency exceeding potential vibration frequency of working medium pressure. Variable signal of preset mechanical vibration frequency is derived from output signal of the cell. This signal and output signals of the cell and temperature sensor indicate diagnostic functions, nominal deviation of which show pressure measurement error. Device consists of piezoelectric element 1, pressure cell 2, temperature sensor 3, band-pass filter 4, amplifier 5, rectifier 6, two-channel analogue-to-digital converter 7 and microcontroller 8. The first microcontroller lead is connected to leads of ADC 7 digital interface and the output of the temperature sensor, the second microcontroller lead is connected to the input of piezoelectric element. The output of the pressure cell is connected to the first ADC input and additionally connected to the input of band-pass filter with its output series connected to the amplifier, rectifier and the second ADC input.
