SUBSTANCE: gum fluid is collected by soaking cotton threads No12 for 5 minutes and placing the thread in 200 ml of sterile saline solution. Claimed method of gum fluid collection enables determination of gum fluid component assay, particularly of interleukin-1β. Interleukin-1β content analysis should be performed not later than two hours after thread placement into saline solution.
EFFECT: sample preparation for early registration of inflammatory processes in periodontium.
