SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: a method for predicting the risk of developing chronic generalized periodontitis, which includes taking samples of the gingival fluid from the patient from the mesio-buccal area of each existing tooth and determining the quantitative content of IL-1 cytokines in the gingival fluid by enzyme immunoassay.β and IL-1Ra. At a concentration of IL-1β<21.00 pg/ml and IL-1Ra>4230.00 pg/ml the absence of periodontal tissue pathology is diagnosed; at a concentration of IL-1β>30.70 pg/ml and IL-1Ra<3530.94 pg/ml high risk of developing chronic generalized periodontitis is diagnosed; at intermediate values of IL-1β and IL-1Ra the presence of gingivitis without a destructive component of the pathogenesis of inflammatory periodontal diseases is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the reliability of the method for early diagnostics of the disease.
