SUBSTANCE: oral fluid is examined to evaluate enzymatic activity of ornithine decarboxylase. If ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) activity is between 2.2±0.87 mnKAT/ml and 1.6±0.65 mnKAT/ml, the treatment is considered to be effective (as compared to norm 1.5±0.3 mnKAT/ml).
EFFECT: effective assessment of chronic generalised periodontitis treatment.
