FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forensic medicine and can be used for determination of a cause of death at persons with pathology of cardiovascular system. Examine the deceased for presence or absence of such signs as a focal fibrosis of an endocardium, piecemeal cardiosclerosis, subendocardial cardiosclerosis, widespread fragmentation of muscular fibers, and also consider results of biochemical researches such as glucose indicators in a heart right ventricle, glucose indicators in a heart left ventricle, myoglobin indicators in a heart right ventricle, myoglobin indicators in a pericardiac liquid, glycogen indicators in a myocardium of a right heart ventricle, glycogen indicators in stem brain departments, glycogen indicators in the left hemisphere of the brain, glycogen indicators in the cerebellum, indicators of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in a myocardium of the right heart ventricle, LDH indicators in a myocardium of the left heart ventricle, LDH indicators in the sceletal muscle, LDH indicators in the liver, LDH indicators in the left hemisphere of the brain, LDH indicators in the stem brain departments, LDH indicators in the cerebellum, and, according to the table 1 presented in the description, estimate these indicators in points which summarise and at determination of larger quantity of points for an alcoholic cardiomyopathy diagnose a cause of death from an alcoholic cardiomyopathy, and at larger quantity of points for other causes of death - diagnose a cause of death not from an alcoholic cardiomyopathy.

EFFECT: method raises accuracy of determination of a cause of death, at the expense of the account of authentically significant signs for surveyed pathologies.
