METHOD OF DIAGNOSING CAUSE OF DEATH FROM CARDIO-VASCULAR DISEASES Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61B10/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to forensic medicine. In order to diagnose cause of death from cardio-vascular disease, sampling of biological fluids is carried out: blood from right and left heart ventricles, from femoral vein, and pericardial fluid, in which detected is presence of cardiac troponin -I (Tn-I), concentrations of glucose and myoglobin are determined. In order to determine lactatedehydrogenase activity (LDG) 7 fragments of myocardium from left heart ventricle and interventricular septum, namely from: lateral wall of left ventricle, area of left ventricle apex, area of anterior wall of left ventricle, area of posterior wall of left ventricle, area of anterior papillary muscle, area of interventricular septum, are dissected. Cause of death is diagnosed on the basis of detected changes in analysis of cardiac troponin-I; concentrations of glucose and myoglobin; LDG activity. If reduction of LDG activity in myocardium fragment is detected, conclusion about localisation of cardiac muscle ischemia in certain area of myocardium is made.

EFFECT: method increases accuracy of diagnostics of death from cardio-vascular diseases due to application of combination of analysed indices.
