FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to forensic medicine, and may be used for cause of death identification. That is ensured by blood sampling from a femoral vein (bFV), a cavity of right ventricle (bRV) and left ventricle (bLV), as well as liver fragments (L). Dead body's tissue and blood samples are prepared. Chemoluminescence intensity of the examined (I) and reference (I0) samples is determined. The relation I/I0 is calculated for bLV, bRV, L; antioxidant activity (AOA) of biological material is determined - bFV and bLV, mcmole trolox. Points are assigned for the derived values I/I0 and AOA; the points are summed up for the cause "IHD" and "the other causes of death" separately. The cause of death is one having the greatest point total.
EFFECT: technique provides differential diagnostic of the cause of death by ischemic heart disease and death by the other causes.
