FIELD: technological processes; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to foundry industry and production of mineral wool products. Method includes loading of materials in cupola pit and supply of heated blast into oxygen zone in equal amounts at two levels of tuyers, at that at the second level of tuyers blast is moisturised to vapor steam content of (12-20)%.
EFFECT: smelting of anthracite materials, higher thermal efficiency factor of furnace, without violation of technological smelting mode.
