FIELD: technological processes; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes charging burden materials in cupola body and supply of blow into oxygen zone. Level of materials charging in cupola amounts to Blow is supplied into oxygen zone as heated up to 450-550°C in equal amounts at two horizons with distance between them I12=(17.5÷20)% from cupola diameter.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to replace coke for anthracite for smelting of cast iron and oxide materials.
