FIELD: technological processes; metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: present invention is related to the field of metallurgical processing of arsenic-containing multimetallic materials, in particular to method for processing of arsenopyrite gold-bearing concentrates and makes it possible to extract arsenic in condition that is resistant to effects of environmental factors. Processing of arsenopyrite sulfide gold-bearing concentrates is carried out by means of thermal heating of dry concentrate in oxygen-free atmosphere in the range of 650-750°C with removal and trapping of arsenic sulfides. At that thermal processing is done for not more than 20 minutes, and arsenic is transferred into natural material, which is resistant to effect of external environmental natural factors. At that gold that has been before scattered in crystalline grid of arsenopyrite becomes available for cyanidation.

EFFECT: possibility to transfer arsenic into ecologically safe condition.
