FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of sulfide concentrate containing precious metals. Method involves mixing sulphide concentrate containing precious metals, and calcium flux to obtain a mixture, burning the mixture in an environment of oxygen-containing gas at a temperature of 600–750 °C to obtain the butt. Calcine obtained is mixed with water and disintegrated with stirring to produce pulp, which is processed by the gravity method to obtain an enriched concentrate and tail product, while the resulting enriched concentrate is dried and melted in a mixture with fluxes to obtain a ligature of precious metals, and the tail product is crushed to a particle size of less than 0.1 mm and its cyanide leaching is carried out.
EFFECT: provides increased recovery of precious metals in the processing of sulphide concentrates.
