FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system of ICE warming-up and automotive passenger compartment heating comprises the following components, i.e. cooling fluid, engine pump, heater, heating unit with electrically-driven pump, check valves, cocks, temperature gauges and channels. One of the channels communicating the said pump outlet with the heating unit valve inlet accommodates an appliance to shut-off the channel allowing stepwise control of the fluid flow rate. Note here that the said appliance represents valve comprising body, spring-loaded control valve with drive electrically connected with the temperature gauge. The said drive shaft has cam with its convex camber being in contact with the control valve upper end face, as well as and inlet and outlet pipelines. Note also that, between the body and spring-loaded control valve arranged is inlet chamber communicating with the inlet pipeline and outlet chamber communicating with the outlet pipeline.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability thanks to higher accuracy of control over fluid flow rate by shutting off channel.
