FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: compressor membrane unit relates to range of compressors with plate-type elastic working tools designed to compress gases, especially, super pure and rare. Working chamber inner surface and that of membrane are made mating due to gradual and smooth membrane fit with aforesaid surface, starting from diameter of membrane pinching on the casing towards the axis of its symmetry during compressing the gas in the said working chamber. Cross section of corrugated membrane, unloaded, features a variable corrugation pitch and amplitude magnitude subject to the following formula, i.e. ym=a·Cos(b·r)/exp(c·r). The working chamber inner surface cross section is subject to the formula yc=d-f·r2n. The said membrane, on the diameter of pinching in the casing, is pinched over the taper conjugated surfaces with the common angle of inclination of the generating line towards the working chamber. The said angle varies from 1° to 45°.
EFFECT: high-quality gas compression resulted from minimised "dead" volume, smoothness and unbreakable gas compression.
