HYDRAULIC TESTER TO DEFINE OPERATING CONDITIONS OF MACHINE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM ASSEMBLIES Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC F15B19/00 

FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed hydraulic tester comprises hydraulic line with inlet to be connected to hydraulic pump 2 of the hydraulic system under test and outlet to be connected to hydraulic tank of aforesaid system. It also incorporates, in its hydraulic line, adjustable throttle 4 to create pressure delivery chamber of hydraulic pump 2, electronic flow meter 9 with rotor-type pickup mounted downstream of the said throttle. There are also working fluid pressure and temperature pickups 5, 6 and pulse counter 13 to measure hydraulic pump r.p.m. and current or integrated r.p.m., all being mounted at the inlet of throttle 4. The hydraulic tester comprises also handle 14 to control three-way low-pressure valve 8 mounted between throttle 4 and flow meter 9 to selectively direct forced working fluid to either hydraulic line outlet, with handle 14 in the first position, or flow meter 9, with handle 14 in the second position. The tester incorporates also and electric circuit to control counter 13 and flow meter 9. The circuit first pair of contacts 16 cuts in counter 13 to measure current r.p.m., with handle 14 in the first position, and second pair of contacts 17 to cut flow meter 9 and counter 13 to measure integrated r.p.m., with handle 14 in the second position. There is, upstream of throttle 4, adjustable safety valve 15 to limit the working fluid maximum pressure. The drain of valve 15 is connected to hydraulic line between throttle 4 and three-way valve 8.

EFFECT: accurate determination of working fluid flow rate, reduced labor input.
