METHOD OF CLEANING INTERIOR WALLS OF HEAT EXCHANGING DEVICE OF NATURAL GAS COOLING SYSTEM FROM SEDIMENTS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC F28G9/00 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil and gas industry, particularly to operation of equipment of line production management (LPM) of gas main and can be implemented for chemical cleaning of heat exchanging devices of system for cooling natural gas after compression. The method consists in forming a closed circuit with pipeline; this circuit includes the heat exchanging device and at least two capacities with liquid medium equipped with heating system; further by means of a pump the closed circuit is filled with liquid medium with facilitating circulation of the medium in the circuit; the heat exchanging device is vacuumised till it is completely filled with liquid medium. Primary washing is carried out in the closed circuit with a flow of liquid medium different from laminar, then the device is washed with laminar liquid medium flow additionally fed with solution of caustic soda till achieving contents 5-10% in liquid wt % of NaOH at temperature 40÷70°C in the mode of repeated circulation; then the closed circuit with the heat exchanging device is finally washed with liquid medium flow different from laminar; also capacities with liquid medium are installed parallel and each successive stage of washing is commenced by switching from one capacity to another; liquid medium is withdrawn and the device is dried.

EFFECT: facilitating efficient and ecologically acceptable execution of repair, service and emergency works at LPM of gas main.
