FIELD: physics, measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of facilities for measurement of dust particles concentration in air and may be used for control of air dust level in residential and industrial premises, and also for ecological monitoring of atmosphere condition. Invention is based on "Drop cluster" effect, and its substance consists in measurement of drop cluster surface area growth rate, which is induced by light emitting heating element inbuilt into cuvette bottom with open thin layer of liquid. The higher is the concentration of dust particles in air, the faster the cluster increases and photodetector signal varies.

EFFECT: provision of possibility to control extent of air dust level on the basis of previously set calibrating dependence.
