FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: optic dust meter includes measuring and reference channels with two protective windows, with that, the reference channel is filled with a gas mixture cleaned from dust, with that, the above mixture is similar as to its composition to waste gases of a certain factory, a dust content monitoring device for inspection holes, which is optically connected to the first inspection hole in the measuring channel, the outlet of which is the inlet for a control device, the outlet of which is connected to a protective window blowing device. The dust meter also includes a temperature control device the outlet of which is connected to a microcontroller, a heating device of inspection holes and two radiation sources in measuring and reference channels operating on lengths of waves in the region of maximum and minimum dust absorption and controlled with the microcontroller, the radiations of which are directed in series by means of separating prisms and mirrors through measuring and reference channels to the inlet of the wide-band photoreceiver.

EFFECT: improving accuracy of continuous measurement of concentration.
