FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine and can be used for diagnostics of presence and definition of character of neoplasms of the brain. The method is performed using IR-spectroscopy of blood serum in area 1200-1000 cm-1 about definition of heights of peaks of strips of absorption with maximums: 1170 cm-1, 1165 cm-1, 1160 cm-1, 1150 cm-1, 1130 cm-1 with the subsequent mathematical processing of the received data. At neoplasm revealing the additional IR-spectroscopic analysis is carried out with definition of corresponding peaks of absorption strips with the following maximums: at men about 1165 cm-1; 1160 cm-1, 1130 cm-1, 1070 cm-1, 1040 cm-1, at women about 1165 cm-1; 1150 cm-1, 1125 cm-1, 1100 cm-1, 1050 cm-1. Mathematical processing of the received data is performed and character of a neoplasm: good-quality or malignant is defined.
EFFECT: high accuracy and diagnostics informativeness, allows defining character of a tumour non-invasively on a preoperation stage.
