FIELD: physics, measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric metering equipment and is designed for application in reference measurements in wide range of measured voltages and frequencies. To achieve technical result voltage comparator comprises movable system in the form of horizontal beam of balance type. Movable electrodes of multi-chamber cylindrical capacitors are fixed to edges of beam. Elements of beam fixation provide for beam rotation and resistance to transverse oscillations. Output signal from two photoelectric transducers is summed and amplified. Equality of voltages is determined by zero indication of zero indicator. Compensator of counteracting moment of speaders is arranged in the form of two additional multi-chamber cylindrical electrodes, to which direct voltage is supplied that is proportional to moment of spreaders.

EFFECT: higher sensitivity and accuracy of electrostatic voltage comparator.
