FIELD: physics; measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical measuring techniques and is meant for use in reference measurement of three-phase power in a wide voltage and frequency range. The electrodynamic three-phase power comparator contains a mobile system in form of three horizontal weight-type arms. At the edges of each arm there are moving coils of electrodynamic transducers, while fixed coils are rigidly attached to the base of the comparator. To provide for identity of the electrodynamic transducers, one winding of the fixed coils can move. The clampers of the arms provide for turning of the arms and resistance to transverse vibrations. Output signal from two photoelectric transducers is summed up and amplified. Balance of power on alternating and direct current is determined from the zero reading of a null indicator.

EFFECT: the power comparator provides for a wide range of measuring power in three-phase alternating current circuits in a wide frequency range during reference measurement.
