SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to data transfer networks. The terminal for receiving and relaying data has a first network adapter (31, 36) for receiving the primary data stream, in which the information is encoded, encrypted in accordance with a key encryption scheme, from the primary transmitter (25, 26, 27) through the first network in the first format, a device for receiving access messages, enabling an authorised receiver to decrypt the encrypted data stream, and at least, one more network adapter (37) for connection with the secondary network (2). The terminal is configured for relaying at least, part of information in at least, one secondary data stream in a second format, different from the first format, through a second network (2), into at least, one secondary terminal (3, 5, 6), connected to the secondary network (2). The terminal is configured for transmitting the secondary data stream (streams), encrypted in accordance with the same key encryption scheme, and sending received access messages, which enable an authorised receiver to decrypt the secondary data stream (streams), to the secondary terminal (terminals) (3, 5, 6).
