FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to biotechnology and agriculture and is a method of breeding predatory mite Amblyseius cucumeris Ond. The method involves growing flour mite on sterilised and damp mill offals and infesting them with amblyseius. For this purpose mill offals with particle size 1.0-2.0 mm are used, and are moistened by spraying with sterilised water with ratio of 10 l of substrate for 750 ml of water. The mill offals stacked in a 5-7 cm layer in cuvettes are then infested with flour mite. Infesting with amblyseius is done after 14-15 days with density of flour mite 9.5-10 thousand animal units/ cm3 and ratio 1:50-1:100. The layer of mill offals in cuvettes then reaches 7-10 cm. The amblyseius is collected after 14-15 days.

EFFECT: invention cuts on the duration of accumulation of amblyseius, increases output of biomaterial, and simplifies and secures known methods of moistening and sterilising substrate for accumulation of amblyseius.
