The claimed method consists in breeding a predatory mite, which is able to feed equally and effectively on both natural and alternative types of feed, without losing its biological and environmental indicators, thanks to the implementation of the claimed method for breeding Phytoseiidae and other taxa of the Parasitiformes superorder using selective-directional breeding, according to which the carrier plant is populated by a pest that is natural food for the predator, for the purpose of its cultivation, then the plants with the accumulated pest are populated by a predator with its subsequent selective breeding according to the indicators of the greatest fecundity and voracity, which is then placed on an alternative loose substrate, where it feeds on alternative types of feed to form adaptation with subsequent cultivation of the predator, while selection and breeding of natural types of feed occurs simultaneously with the stage of directional selection and accumulation of alternative feed, also, in parallel, the process of selective breeding of a predator is carried out both using natural feed, as well as the alternative feed with its further production.
