FIELD: agricultural biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural biotechnology and is a method of breeding the predatory beetle Atheta coriaria. The method consists in preparing a substrate, including vermiculite and peat in equal amounts, which is moistened with distilled water to 60-70%. The imago of the predatory beetle Atheta coriaria is placed in the substrate and grown for 30-40 days at a constant temperature from + 26 °C to + 28 °C and at humidity of 70% until adults appear, feeding is carried out as the feed is eaten.
EFFECT: increased number of adults of the predatory beetle Atheta coriaria.
