FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes slab continuous casting, its hot rolling with tension into strips, etching, cold rolling, annealing, pinch-pass rolling and strips cutting for defined width. Forming of defect-free edges, tightening shortening are provided by means of slab is cut lengthwise for two halves, width of each is 1.05-1.21 times increases defined width, hot rolling is implemented into strips of width, increasing defined width 1.01-1.09 times, and cold rolling is implemented with total clamping no more than 83%, with hot rolling implementing with specific tension, not exeeding 0.3 of strip yield point.
EFFECT: reduction of metal discharge coefficient and productivity improvement of continuous casting with manufacturing from continuous casted slabs of steel cold-rolled strips with cutoff side-lay edges.
