FIELD: electric equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns electric equipment, particularly constructions and methods of steel aluminium wire production for electric power transmission in air-borne electric networks. Method involves application of annular pressed-out aluminium layer onto core at aluminium press, cooling by water, and winding on receiving spool. According to the claim, steel core is produced out of one round steel wire or wound of several wires, and water cooling is performed in at least 1.5 m distance from aluminium pressing area. Steel core out of single round steel wire can be processed in straightening device before aluminium application.
EFFECT: significantly improved electric properties of wire, reduced cost and weight.
