FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: non-insulated steel-aluminum high-strength wire contains steel core made of high-strength zinc-coated wires. Steel core is made by single-operation method with linear contact of layers twisting wires in one direction, with simultaneous deformation, with reduction degree of cross-section area of core in range of 10–14 %. Layer of shaped aluminum wire is arranged on steel core coated with lubricant resistant to high temperature. Also, non-insulated steel-aluminum high-strength wire can be made by single-operation method with linear contact of round wires not deformed along outer surface or can be made by multi-operation method, which consists in layer-by-layer manufacturing of core, number of core layers can vary from two to four, core is made with point contact of wires and other methods.

EFFECT: invention provides higher mechanical strength of wire.
