FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to pipe joints. The assembly has two expansible screwed pipe joints, lying symmetrically and with male and female pipe elements with threaded ends. Two male pipe elements form two opposite ends of the adapter sleeve. The male and female pipe elements are made such that, each second support surface rests on the corresponding third support surface after screwing and before diametric expansion in the plastic deformation region using an expansion instrument with axial displacement.
EFFECT: increased strength of the joint.
