FIELD: mechanics, heating.
SUBSTANCE: proposed water heater has one section comprising a shell and represents a pipe with inlet branch pipe housing a heat exchanger element. The said element has and inlet and outlet of heated fluid medium and a flow turbuliser arranged inside a casing. The flow turbuliser helical space and the casing inner surface form a channel for heated fluid medium flow. The flow turbuliser inner space and that between the casing and shell form the heat carrier flow inner and outer channels. The water heater comprises packing glands. The shell steel pipe incorporates an outlet T-joint. One packing gland provides for tightness between the casing and shell, the other one joints the flow turbuliser one end to the said T-joint.
EFFECT: intensified heat exchange, ease of operation.
