FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air cooling apparatus for conducting heat exchange processes between air and hot heat carrier using movable channels (rotating tubes) and can be used in gas, chemical and oil refining industry. Apparatus consists of a casing, a staggered bundle of tubes, spiral tapes, bladed impellers with outer rings, closed type bearings, a confuser and a diffuser for air inlet and outlet, tube grids, nozzles for hot heat carrier inlet and outlet. Spiral tape is rigidly installed in each pipe. On the surface of each pipe at equal distance between each other, bladed impellers with outer rings are installed, at that, impellers on each pipe are located with displacement relative to impellers on pipes of adjacent horizontal rows so that they do not touch each other during rotation; bearings are located in tube plates.
EFFECT: increased intensity of heat exchange processes; reduced costs of metal for making the apparatus; reduced power consumption.
