SUBSTANCE: suggested method for optimisation of location detection based on GPS in presence of time-variable frequency error, consists in the fact that resulting Doppler shift of GPS and Doppler shift or CDMA code are continuously measured and/or calculated, and then their negative effects are minimised at detection of location by means of GPS Doppler search windows recentering on the basis of GPS Doppler shift value, and also application of GPS Doppler shift value and CDMA code Doppler shift for correct distribution for measurements of pseudodistance in GPS and AFLT measurements of control phase, accordingly, for the total time prior to their application in mechanism for location detection.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of location detection for mobile station or wireless communication device.
