FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: According to suggested method there are used results of three component observations at recording waves of various seismic sources (explosions, earthquakes). The essence of the method of phase-vector analysis of seismic sources is like follows: to determine the moment of superposition of one seismic wave onto another for identification of types of waves participant in superposition three two-component vectors are formed out of three component vector of a seismic signal, one of which is represented by components registered with horizontal sensors, the other one is represented with components recorded with one vertical and one of horizontal sensors, and the third vector is represented with components registered with one vertical and the other with one horizontal sensor. Additionally, the fourth vector is formed, the components of which are the module of vector projection onto horizontal plane and the module of vertical constituent of seismic signal vector. The method facilitates determining types of waves and moments of their approach to point of observation at their superposition reaching 96%, i.e. reaching practically maximum resolution capability.
EFFECT: upgraded accuracy of survey.
