SUBSTANCE: in realisation of method for identification of doubtful and/or counterfeit bank notes introduced into automatic cash desk, which includes checkup of introduced bank notes for authenticity with the help of data received by sensor device, above-mentioned identification is achieved by the fact that data received by sensor device for doubtful and/or counterfeit bank notes is related to identification data of payer, data is preserved, which characterise doubtful and/for counterfeit bank notes, and identification data of payer, for doubtful and/or counterfeit bank notes with the help of specified sensor device or similar sensor device checkup data are generated, at that generation of checkup data with the help of sensor device is realised for all possible positions of doubtful and/or counterfeit bank notes.
EFFECT: result of identification does not depend initial position of bank notes.
