FIELD: electrics; physics.
SUBSTANCE: solid composite electrodes with active electrode layers includes active electrode material in the form of electron conducting material containing binding material and possibly other additives. Solid composite electrodes are formed by electrode composition (suspension) application onto current collector in one or more layers. Electrode construction features electrode composition layer porosity declining from rare layer side (close to current collector) towards external layer side. Porosity reduction gradient is adjusted by solid substance content in suspension, solvent composition in suspension, layer drying temperature after application, as well as pressing or calendering conditions for each layer.
EFFECT: possible application in chemical electric power sources, such as primary and secondary accumulators.
