SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ophthalmology and can be used for applying a buried suture on implanted elements fixed by means of a double thread. Marking of a sclera for an establishment of zones of suture is made. In these zones blind-ended scleral cuts are made; a double thread with a needle is deduced through them on a sclera surface. One of threads is cut from a needle. A needle with remained thread stitches cut edge so that the needle and a thread left in a cut lumen. Both threads are placed in a lumen of the cut and fastened. At tightening the knot plunges into the lumen of scleral cut. The cut is taken in using an additional seam.

EFFECT: traumatism decrease and simplification of carried out stage of the operation, reduction of duration of operation.
