FIELD: emergency-rescue equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device for lowering people from high-rise objects contains a body with a lid, made in the body of the connecting hole, profiled blockings, part of which is rigidly fixed to the body, and a flexible strain member with a round cross-section. A member with a round cross-section is fitted between the blockings. An oscillating lever with the capability of swinging on an axis is placed on the body. The oscillating lever is made in the form of a triangle, whose top corresponds with the axis of the swinging of the oscillating lever. At the lower corners of the triangle are placed profiled blockings, whose axes are parallel to the axis of swinging of the oscillating lever, placed under the connecting hole. The blocking, which is installed on the upper part of the body is placed above the axis of the oscillating lever.
EFFECT: providing a possibility of quick evacuation of people from high-rise objects before the arrival of the rescue team, which is achieved due to the possibility of multiple use of the device for lowering people in the process of a specific rescue operation, increase in the braking force during the lowering of people and reduction in the friction force during the raising of the rope to the upper position.
