FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of inorganic chemistry. Corse-disperse particles are caught with mechanical filter of coarse purification 1. Then particle are unipolarly charged with positive gas ions in zone of corona discharge and are precipitated on surface and in volume of electrostatic coarse-fibre filter 4. Filter 4 is polarised by outer electric field, whose electric vector is co-linear to vector of air flow rate. Then particles are subjected to photo-oxidation under exposure to ultraviolet radiation with wavelength 0.3 mcm on surface of photocatalytic filter 6. As photocatalytic filter 6, pure titanium dioxide with crystalline anatase structure or titanium dioxide, containing one or several transition metals, for instance platinum or palladium applied on coarse-porous structure, is used. As oxidation gas, ozone, formed in cylindrical condenser 2 with central corona-forming wire electrode 3, is used. Final sorption of oxidising gas and oxygen-containing molecular compounds takes place in pores of filter 7 from activated coal.

EFFECT: can be used in gas purification and air sterilisation.
