FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: device for production of hygroscopic submicron aerosol of alkali and alkali-earth metal halogenides is related to the field of physics of aero-dispersed systems and may be used in systems of air conditioning and creation of healthy microclimate of premises, and also in medicine in treatment of diseases, for which inhalations of atmospheric air containing hygroscopic submicron aerosol of alkali and alkali-earth metal halogenides are necessary. Technical result is achieved by the fact that in device for production of hygroscopic submicron aerosol of alkali and alkali-earth metal halogenides in tubular channel in tubular channel of electric furnace parallel to its longitudinal axis, set of chemically inertial reactors is installed, filled with evaporating halogenides of alkali and alkali-earth metals and arranged with outlet openings in their upper part.

EFFECT: expansion of functional parametres of device due to simultaneous creation of mixture of aerosol particles of alkali metal iodides (K, Na) and aerosols of chlorides and bromides of alkali and alkali-earth metals (Li, K, Na, Mg, Ca) in submicron range of size (less than 1 mcm), and also variation of their chemical composition for inhalation iodising of human being and their halotherapy with bromides and chlorides of lithium, potassium, sodium, magnesium and calcium.
