FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: label printer comprises cartridge receptacle including the base, upper opening arranged opposite the base and a locking mechanism comprising two locking elements entering the said receptacle to lock the cartridge therein. Note that every locking element can move between locked and unlocked positions, and that two locking elements are linked up by the driving mechanism arranged under the receptacle base to bring both locking element in synchronism. Aforesaid cartridge comprises a casing with a base, upper part and lateral sides running from the base to upper part with a recess running from the base to the upper part to accommodate the first locking element interacting with one of the locking elements entering the said receptacle to lock the cartridge therein.
EFFECT: high printing quality, proper printing tape position.
