FIELD: engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to engineering industry, and namely to joint couplings for rotation transmission in various drives. Shock-absorbing coupling consists of inner half-coupling and outer half-coupling. Outer cylindrical surface of inner half-coupling is mated with inner surfaces of two sleeves the outer surfaces of which are mated with inner cylindrical surface of outer half-coupling. Cylindrical protective housing is bolted to the outer end surface of outer half-coupling, and cover is attached to the central part of the above surface by means of pins. Attachment bolt is located in the central hole of the cover equipped with a sealing ring. To the conical surface of outer half-coupling, there attached is elastic member by means of vulcanisation; and that member is attached with its opposite surface to the washer by means of vulcanisation. Washer is bolted with its outer end surface to inner end surface of inner half-coupling. Ring mating with its inner cylindrical surface with outer cylindrical surface of outer half-coupling through the sealing ring is clamped between washer and inner end surface of inner half-coupling.
EFFECT: coupling design provides more strict coincidence of axes between inlet and outlet shafts, which allows using the coupling at increased rotation speeds.
