SEALING OF HIGH PRESSURE DEVICES Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC F16J15/16

Abstract RU 2352842 C2

FIELD: engineering industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to sealing equipment. Sealing of parts of high pressure devices meant for liquid media, which are movable relative to each other, consists of high pressure capacity, and moving member and sleeve coaxial therewith on high pressure side and metal supporting ring enters the hole of that capacity. Supporting ring is adjacent to inner surface of high pressure capacity hole, and to the ring. In order to eliminate wear and material removal that frequently occurs in separate areas where high pressure capacity contacts the supporting ring at impulse compression load, and to increase service life of the sealing of high pressure devices, at least outer surface of supporting ring and/or at least inner surface of high pressure capacity hole, which is adjacent to supporting ring or sealing means, includes at least one coating applied by means of PVD and/or CVD method, and/or in particular according to PACVD method.

EFFECT: improving service life of sealing of high pressure devices.
