FIELD: engineering industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to engineering industry, and is designed for constructing pipelines of plain pipes being damaged during welding, e.g. steel pipes with inner coating, or reinforced polymeric pipes. Pipe installation device consists of a metal casing made in the form of a cylinder with internal cylindrical cavity restricted with internal annular protrusion reaching the pipe outer surface, and cylindrical protrusion located on the casing external surface, a gasket seal installed in internal cylindrical cavity of the casing, bolts used as fasteners, and C-ring located in internal cylindrical cavity of the casing and made from material that is harder than pipe material. In the casing internal cylindrical cavity closed with an end cover plate on the side opposite to internal annular protrusion, there located is a movable bush that bears heavily with its inner conical surface on spherical protruding surface of C-ring, compresses it, at that presses pointed protrusions of C-ring into the pipe body, and fixes the pipe in the pipe installation device. To the opposite end of movable bush there adjoined is gasket seal the compression of which occurs during movement of the end cover plate when bolts entering the holes located in cylindrical protrusion of the casing and the end cover plate in axial direction uniformly in a circumferential direction are tightened.
