FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: pipe coupling contains metal casing, which is installed above the surface of joined pipes, deformed sealing elements and elements of pipes fixing inside the casing with the help of standard fixing elements that are installed in the casing. Metal casing of coupling is arranged in the form of coaxial cylinder with fixed pipes, which is equipped with internal bulge that is installed above pipes joint and with two internal cylindrical bores at casing butt-ends. On external surface of casing there are two cylindrical bulges that provide installation of radial fixing power screws in them. At butt-ends of casing internal bulge there are two sealing annular elastomer gaskets installed that provide sealing of joint and are squeezed with flat butt-end surfaces of pressing steel rings, which move along axis under effect to their butt-end conical surfaces with conical surfaces of C-shaped rings that change their dimensions under effect of power screws. Power screws are installed in external bulges of casing. Fixing of pipes is made with steel rings with internal bore and butt-end slots, which with their conical surfaces interact with conical surfaces of C-shaped rings and their bulges contact with surface of pipes during tightening of power screws. Axial displacement of steel rings with internal bore and butt-end slots is prevented with combination rings, the separation of which permits to install them in casing grooves and retain with butt-end rings that are arrested with screws.

EFFECT: increase of pipelines joints reliability.
