SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pipeline connections. Ring used for visual control of pipe fitting swaging consists of an annular section allowing to keep the ring on the fitting body. Outside the annular section there located is one segment set prior to swaging to the first position wherein it is held in place relative to annular section by means of the first retaining devices, and meant for being moved during swaging to the second position wherein it is held in place relative to annular section by means of the second retaining devices.
EFFECT: providing reliable visual control of swaging in pipe connection areas.
