FIELD: physics, measurement.

SUBSTANCE: design of level indicators for liquid and/or gas-liquid under pressure is related to controlling and measuring equipment, namely to facilities for level measurement and determination of liquid and gas-liquid volume in processes of production, transport, storage and realisation of oil and oil-and-gas products, and may be used in other industries. Expansion of functional resources is achieved due to device design according to the first version: in the form of header installed vertically and parallel to liquid column under pressure in reservoir and connected to top and bottom of this reservoir by means of upper and lower connection pipelines that are equipped with stop devices in the form of taps and/or dampers and valves, side surface of header is equipped with metering scale with counter, header is also provided with section that comprises transparent tube installed with its ends in stop devices, and protective screen fixed in these stop devices, at that transparent tube is located in one plane with metering scale, is parallel to header and is connected with it on top and bottom via stop devices and nozzles, and header for pressure release and device disconnection from reservoir is equipped with stop devices in upper pipeline for gas exhaust, in lower pipeline for liquid drain; and according to the second version: in the form of section from transparent tube with protective screen, at that tube is installed with its ends in stop devices vertically and parallel to liquid column in reservoir and is additionally equipped with upper and lower connection pipelines with the possibility of device connection to reservoir via flanges or couplings.

EFFECT: increased validity and accuracy of measurements.
