FIELD: food products.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to food industry, in particular, to food vegetable additives. Vegetable food additive is made from sage-brush collected before flowering, dried at 60-80°C and boiled before usage during 5-10 minutes with following mincing. Furthermore the obtained additive contains in dry weight not less than 15% of protein, 3.0% of fat, 19.0% of cellulose, 0.4% of water-soluble carbohydrates, not more than 3.0% of ash elements.
EFFECT: high-quality vegetable food additive from sage-brush leaves for enrichment of dairy products with nutritious and bioactive substances.
