FIELD: treatment plants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electro-filters - apparatus for trapping solid or liquid particles from gas and can be used in heat-power industry, metallurgy, petroleochemistry, construction materials industry, and other sectors. Electro-filter contains a body, precipitating and corona electrodes. Corona electrodes are made in the form of a tubular frame with elements which exhibit corona discharge, the exterior of the upper and lower tubes of the frame of the corona discharging elements are provided with additional corona discharging parts with points, directed towards the body of the electro-filter. Minimal distance from the ends of the points of the additional corona discharging parts to the body is relative to the minimal distance between the precipitating and corona electrodes of the electro-filter as 1:1-2. Corona discharging elements can be fixed to the upper and lower tubes of the frame with the help of pins, the ends of the pins which protrude beyond the upper and lower pipes of the frame are pointed.
EFFECT: proposed electro-filter increases the dust collection efficiency in semi-active zones (above the corona discharging electrodes and below them) and makes it possible to reduce the length of the electro-filter.
