SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the electrical filters and may be used for purification of the gasses. The electrical filter contains the body, the depositing and the corona-forming electrodes combined in the groups. In the first gas streamwise groups the purified dust-and-gas stream moves horizontally, and in the last gas streamwise groups - the purified dust-and-gas stream moves vertically. The ratio of the area of the sedimentation to the amount of the purified gas in the area, where the gas is moving horizontally, makes 115 - 76, and in the area, where the gas is moving vertically, this ratio makes 76 - 38. The technical result of the invention is the increased efficiency of usage of the active area of the electric filter.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased efficiency of usage of the active area of the electric filter.
