FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to obtaining bemite and its application as antipyrene. Bemite has average diameter of particles D50 in the range from 50 to 400 nm, BET-surface in the range from 10 to 40 m2/g and pore volume in the range from 0.05 to 0.5 cm3/g. Method of obtaining hard primer for autocatalytic hydrothermal bemite crystallisation lies in preparation of water dispersion from initial aluminium monohydrate with crystalline structure of bemite and dispersion grinding. In distersion grinding pH value is set in the range from 2 to 4. In order to prepare bemite, water alkali dispersion containing initial hydrate Al(OH)3 and hard primer is prepared. Dispersion is heated in autoclave to temperature in the range from 110 to 180°C exposing at said temperature until hydrate Al(OH)3 is practically fully used and dried. In claimed method primer obtained by method described above and/or bemite obtained by claimed method, is used.

EFFECT: elaboration of efficient method of obtaining bemite.
