FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: combined sealing joint consists of a part to be sealed incorporating circular groove receiving a rectangular-section anti-friction-material circular element, its width being equal to that of aforesaid groove, interacting with the counter part to be sealed, and a round-section elastomer ring interacting with the said circular element and groove bottom. The said circular element and rectangular-section groove bottom are furnished with circular grooves with cross sections representing the segments of ellipse with axes aligned with those of the elastomer ring deformed cross section.

EFFECT: higher reliability.
